Security-filled summer

For Instant On IT, it was a security-filled summer!  Here are some updates on key security developments for us below:

ISO 27001 – we’ve been re-certified!
As you are probably aware, ISO 27001 is the international best practice standard for information security encompassing people, processes and technology.
If you are in the process of navigating GDPR, you’re also likely to be aware that the new data protection regulation encourages working with partners who hold certifications such as ISO 27001, to demonstrate that the organisation is actively managing its data security in line with best practice. We’re pleased to confirm that Instant On IT have successfully gone through the ISO 27001 re-certification process.

Cyber Essentials – we are Cyber Essentials Plus certified!
Cyber Essentials, a scheme developed by the UK Government and industry, sets a clear statement of the controls in order to mitigate the risk from common internet-based threats.
As well as being Cyber Essentials certified and a Cyber Essentials Practitioner, Instant On IT have been independently audited and are proud holders of the Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Cyber Information Sharing Partnership – we’re members!
CiSP is a joint industry and Government initiative set up to exchange cyber threat information in real time, in a secure, confidential and dynamic environment.
This strengthens Instant On IT’s ability to have early warning of Cyber Threats and to engage with industry and Government.
